Sadly both 'Metin Kamil' & 'Tim Christodoulou' are no longer with us. Metin died after being hit over the head with a metal bar and never really recovered and Tim died of double pneumonia.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

After the demise of 'The Bazoomis', John Christoforou (aka Johnny Christo) & Mick Toldi formed the powerpop combo 'The Expressos' along with 'Rozzi Rayner' on vocals, 'Nicholas Pyall' on guitar & 'Milan Zekavica on drums. They signed to the 'WEA' label and went on to release four singles ('By tonight', 'Hey girl', 'Tango in mono' & 'Kiss you all over' and an album (Promises and ties).

Their biggest hit was the excellent 'Tango In Mono'. This release was a slab of pure adrenalin filled dancefloor smash with a very catch chorus!

After the Expressos?

Johnnie Christo (our bass player) and Milan Lekavica (our drummer) went on to form 'The Escape Club' and had a massive No.1 in the USA in 1988. The other members of their band were from a punk outfit called 'The Young Ones' who released a single through Virgin.
