Half true. We were not called anything in Feb 79. Around that time I recorded demos in Scotland with Euge and Fay which included a demo of this song plus The Fiend which became the actual B side as per this acetate. We were going to call ourselves Crazy Cat at this time. Virgin did NOT ask us to change our name. I came up with the idea of a V sign to Sire Records as it was Sire who wouldn't let us continue to call the band ReZillos. So we agreed, then signed as ReVillos to Virgin. The original song title was Want Boy Gimme Gimme. This was not recorded as or by the Rezillos this is just a typo by the cutting engineer. The track was rerecorded for this single in the summer of 79.
