The above photo was taken at Leatherhead Football Club on Friday 19th October 1979. Nigel Wilson (out of picture) was on drums replacing Stewart Taylor who had recently left the band. This was Terry's final gig with the band and is remembered as the best gig The Head ever played at Leatherhead FC. As was a regular occurrence at Head gigs at the time the band played two sets and an extended encore. This photo is from the first session that night. A poster behind the band can be seen advertising a soon to be recorded Head EP 'Head Start' featuring ' University 79' ,' Nothing To do In A Town Like Leatherhead', ' It's Fun To Die' and 'I Don't Think You Love Me'. This EP was never released. |
