This four piece were from the Manchester area and were formed in late 1978. The band went through several different line-ups due to non-commitment (and in 'Andy's own words, the others were a bunch of 'lazy wankers') and musical differences.

The debut single "We want it legalised" / "Tell me what ya mean" was recorded and mixed in one day as that all the band could afford. No picture sleeve was ever issued as the band couldn't afford to print one. In fact the band didn't even have a drummer until one week before the single was recorded.

The follow up single was "The back end of nowhere" / "Rat Race". This time the single came in a proper over sized card sleeve. The line-up of this release was more stable and the two photos featured here are from that line-up.

Sadly, the band split in 1981 when lead singer "Andy" thought "Fuck this...." and drove off into the night in his trust van (shown above)  armed only with a few clothes and an acoustic guitar.
